With the motto 'Work in a new economy for life', on April 24, 25 and 26, the city of Barcelona will host the first edition of the Catalan Work Congress. The meeting will be organized by the Department of Business and Work of the Generalitat de Catalunya, with the collaboration of some of the country's most representative social agents such as Foment del Treball Nacional, PIMEC, CCOO de Catalunya and UGT de Catalunya. There will also be the advice of a plural scientific committee made up of Albert Carreras de Odriozola, Judit Vall Castelló, Sandra Nieto Viramontes, Sara Moreno Colom, Anna Ginès Fabrellas, Ignasi Beltran de Heredia, Guillem Llorens Gragera, Dolors Bassa Coll and Andreu Mas-Colell. The conference will seek to nurture the Catalan Strategy for Work 2030 that the Department of Business and Labor of the Generalitat de Catalunya plans to develop as an instrument to face the challenges presented in the world of work in the coming years.
The first edition of the Catalan Work Congress will be held at the Barcelona International Convention Center (Plaça Willy Brandt, 11-14), making the city of Barcelona for a few days the epicenter of the debate on the work of the future and the point of meeting of social agents and academic, political and economic leaders at national and international level. The aim will be to promote the exchange of experiences and generate synergies in the world of work and the needs of action.
