Within the framework of International Women's Day and for the fifth consecutive year, the Canòdrom. L'Ateneu d'Innovació Digital i Democràtica. , located at Carrer de Concepción Arenal, number 165, in the city of Barcelona, and DigitalFems will organize a day full of training, debate and concerts to give visibility to female talent within the music and technology industry. The proposal, which will be held next Friday, March 14, from 2 to 9 p.m., will want to generate a space to learn, reflect and claim, as well as promote a fairer, more accessible and inclusive industry. The event will begin at 2 p.m. with a community lunch in order to offer a creative and collaborative space to connect with other music and technology professionals. Then, at 3 pm, two digital training workshops will be held: 'Data Decoded: Music Data Analytics' by Sarah Kloboves (Chatmetric) who will discover how to analyze data from live broadcasts, social networks and the audience to make informed strategic decisions and 'Artificial Intelligence in the music sector' by Majo Clutet (Larrosa Music) who will present free artificial intelligence tools to improve music promotion, automate campaigns and optimize releases. Likewise, at 5:30 pm, the conference 'The sovereignty of metadata' will be held with Ivana Feldfeber (Data Género) to reflect on the importance of data in digital music and how to guarantee control over works.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., there will be a panel of experts, artists, cultural managers and technologists such as Lara Alcázar (Associació MIM), Antònia Folguera (Sonar+D), Natalia SanJuan (Femnøise) and Thais Ruiz de Alda (DigitalFems), who will discuss the challenges and opportunities of the digital music sector. Finally, at 7:30 p.m., two concerts will be scheduled by Gigi Ros, who fuses pop, electronics and experimentation with a unique staging, and Fernanda Alemán & FTFS, who will transport the audience with an immersive sound proposal full of electronic rhythms and Andean influences. The aim will be to highlight the transformative power of music and technology, as well as the importance of inclusion and diversity.
