On April 18th and 19th, the new edition of the Science Festival will feature games, experiments, shows, stories, visits, exhibitions and humor at the Born Center for Culture and Memory.

Games, experiments, workshops, shows, stories, visits, exhibitions, humor and many more activities will make up the new edition of the Science Festival . On Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the facilities of the Born Center for Culture and Memory will host the nineteenth edition of the Science Festival, which, organized by the Barcelona City Council, will once again offer young, middle-aged and old people a universe of activities to bring scientific and technological knowledge closer. The organization will program more than 180 activities on various areas: neuroscience and health, architecture, the universe, the environment, archaeology, art and society, and technology and basic science. The nineteenth edition of the Science Festival will feature the collaboration of more than 120 institutions, entities and research groups and more than 350 participants who will be organized in around thirty spaces. Among the new features will be the 'Neurolab' space, which will be dedicated exclusively to the brain, and 'The secrets of architecture', where it will be celebrated that this 2026 the city of Barcelona is the World Capital of Architecture. There will also be the 'Science Slam' space, a competition of short five-minute talks, and the 'Discover the Enigma' puzzle game, a proposal to discover new concepts about science. The facilities of the Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria will be the central space of the nineteenth edition of the Science Festival. Similarly, there will be activities in the Commercial Square, the Ciutadella Park, the Greenhouse and the Martorell Exhibition Center to reflect the 'Ciutadella del Coneixement' project which will aim to become a research, innovation and dissemination initiative.
