Last Friday, June 28, at the Palau Robert facilities, the day 'Families, summer and screens: digital well-being, a debate' was organized. Promoted by the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the SX3 and the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation, with the support of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia and the Catalan Data Protection Authority, the training session sought to offer tools, resources and strategies to manage the use of digital devices by children, adolescents and young people.

The day 'Families, summer and screens: digital well-being, a debate' began with the institutional welcome by Liliana Arroyo from the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Cristina Villà from SX3 and Eduard Martín of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation. Then, the publicist Jordi Camós gave the presentation 'The other side of the screens', where he discussed aspects such as the hours of use of the mobile phone, the Tik Tok and Instagram algorithms, the importance of educating and to accompany and the positive side of technology.

Next, the general director of Societat Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Liliana Arroyo, and the trainer in educational transformation processes, educational technology and learning methodologies Montserrat Jiménez presented the card game 'Our screens of each day', a fun tool designed to encourage and accompany family conversation about the use of digital devices. Specifically, they gave a live demonstration of how the card game works, which has two game modes: 'We have a problem, let's talk about it?' and 'Establish a digital alliance', covering different conflict situations and offering proposals positive and proportionate alternatives in order to establish healthy digital alliances. The training session was part of the exhibition 'Remember the Future', which is located in the Palau Robert facilities.
