"The 'Recoopmana' tool is a virtual assistant expert in work cooperativism. Anyone who may have a question related to the process of creation, constitution, growth or consolidation of an organization can contact it and, from there, it is an artificial intelligence that will give them an answer," explains Guillem Perdrix, general director of the Federation of Work Cooperatives of Catalonia. The Federation of Work Cooperatives of Catalonia has made a determined commitment to artificial intelligence and is currently working to provide the 'Recoopmana' tool with more content in order to refine the answers as much as possible. "We want the answers to be more solid and consolidated each time," says Perdrix.
At the same time, the Federation of Work Cooperatives of Catalonia has presented the 'Click&Coop' tool. "It is a digital platform for sharing cooperative knowledge, that is, it is a space where cooperative members or people who are aware of cooperativism can go and find all the necessary information", points out Perdrix. The tool includes a list of various types of cooperatives, their activities, their products and their resources, as well as information about tenders, contracts or other matters of interest. The objective of the Federation of Work Cooperatives of Catalonia is to turn the tool into a reference platform for citizens and organizations.
"The two tools are complementary. 'Click&Coop' is aimed at anyone who wants to learn more about cooperatives, resolve doubts or obtain more information. 'Recoopmana' is aimed at prescribers, entrepreneurs, people who want to undertake a cooperative project", concludes Perdrix. Therefore, the challenge is for the two tools to work in tandem with the aim of ensuring that knowledge is complete and transversal, from meeting points or spaces or information to recommendations, advice and doubts.
