Google explains that again this year will support Europe Code Week, aiming to show the magic of computer science to the students. It does so by providing grants of up to 2,500 euros to non-profits and schools. To achieve this support they must submit proposals for developing innovative activities during European Code Week, from 7 to 22 October 2017.
The activities should be aimed at children and young people between 5 and 18 years, especially to those new in the world of computing, and should offer "practical learning opportunities and to experience the magic of creating with technology".
The call is addressed solely to non-profit organizations and schools. Proposals can be submitted by filling out this form, until 14 July 2017.
Last year, Google offered grants to 48 organizations from 30 different countries. With their activities they reached more than 90 thousand students and nearly 1,800 teachers.
