Within the framework of the 'DataxViolencexWomen' initiative, a key tool for the analysis of sexist violence and public resources, the DataWomen team of the Barcelona Open Data Initiative , with the collaboration of Dones en Xarxa, will promote a online session to learn how to explore and interpret the collected data. The session will take place next Tuesday, December 10, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and will be aimed especially at entities, associations and organizations, public and private, that manage intervention projects on gender-based violence. The 'DadesxViolènciaxDones' portal has various data such as, for example, the evolution of complaints of violence by gender, fatalities with previous complaints in Catalonia, the evolution of complaints and the budget dedicated to women and equality or the evolution of protection orders granted with respect to protection orders demanded. Therefore, the DataWomen team is specialized in projects where, through data technology, women's rights are affected and digital gaps are overcome through technological proposals that allow analysis and action on violence of gender throughout the territory.
