Over the next few weeks, the facilitators of the Òmnia Network will receive three online training sessions to delve into disinformation, hate speech and digital coexistence. The aim of the summer training proposal will be to delve deeper into the social challenges that emerge in digital environments and share strategies to promote critical, inclusive and respectful citizenship. Thus, the first session of the new edition of 'Summer in Òmnia' will take place on Friday 10 July, from 10 am to 12 pm, and will offer tools and resources to identify misleading content and combat digital disinformation from Nereida Carrillo, director of the benchmark initiative in media literacy 'Learn to Check'.
The second session will then take place on Friday 17 July, from 10am to 12pm, and will share methodologies, experiences and experiences linked to digital coexistence and inclusion. The session will be led by three managing entities of the Òmnia Network, Fundació Intergramenet, the Taula d'Entitats del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya and Colectic. Finally, the third session will take place on Friday 24 July, from 10am to 12pm, and will present initiatives promoted by the same points. The session will be led by the Punt Òmnia Gornal, the Punt Òmnia Blanes and the Punt Òmnia La Devesa, which will propose skills, tactics and maneuvers to manage the dissemination of false information or the manifestation of discriminatory discourses, and develop critical thinking.
