More than 20,000 students between 10 and 16 years of Catalan and Spanish centers will attend the Fira de Barcelona to participate in this new event related to science and technology.
During the four days that will last congress, students and teachers will enjoy educational exhibitions, conferences, workshops and a wide range of practical activities. In addition to teachers and school administrators, Yomo Barcelona will have an exclusive educational resources, including materials specific educational content publishers, providers of online toolkits and numerous educational projects. Yomo also offer workshops for teachers and conferences to share best practices in the professional development of the STEAM disciplines, all organized jointly with mSchools and European Schoolnet .
Yomo, who arrives in Barcelona after the success of the last edition of the Mobile World Congress Shanghai complements mSchools activity, educational program developed by Mobile World Capital Barcelona in collaboration with the Government of Catalonia, Barcelona City council and GSMA. Since its launch in 2012, mSchools helps students and teachers to integrate digital technologies in the classroom effectively. in the last school year more than 24,000 students participated in the program mSchools Catalans, who offers new ways of teaching and learning to improve educational outcomes and employability of students.
The registration process for Yomo Barcelona will open next October, but students and education professionals interested in attending the event can already make a pre-registration .
