Webs al punt .cat reaches its seventh edition. Over the years there has involved more than 6,700 students from 120 schools all over the Catalan-speaking areas. Thereby achieving the aim of the competition: promote awareness of new technologies, creativity of participants and standardization of Catalan in the digital environment.
The puntCAT Foundation has published the bases of the seventh Webs al punt .cat. Until 31 January 2017 secondary school, baccalaureate and formative cycles students will join them in groups of two to five participants. They will have time until March 3 at 23:59 hours to work on their website and send an email to info [at] websalpunt.cat, answering the four questions in the section Calendar. Thereafter their websites will stay into the hands of the jury.
The theme of the website is free. The conditions are that the contents will be Creative Commons and at least in Catalan.
This edition will be awarded the Special Prize Future Journalists AMIC - Fundació puntCAT the best themed web journalism done in the competition. They want to reward the best digital media made by students participating in the event with information and content updated periodically during the period of validity of the tender. To participate in this category must join it in the moment of the registration.
