SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2017, the Technology Conference for Education organized by IFEMA, will take place from October 25 to 27, 2017, in Madrid. Through a call addressed to teachers, 30 innovative educational practices have been selected, which will be presented to the educational community during the summit. These projects will also be candidates for the V edition of the Educational Innovation Awards as the Best Innovative Experience, which will be delivered in the framework of SIMO EDUCACIÓN .
Among the 30 selected experiences we find " 08015. A project that will change the neighborhood", presented by Ana Albalat Martinez, teacher at the high school Ernest Llunch (Barcelona). This proposal is part of the Erasmus + Collaborative design for Smart Pupils project and is being developed in 2nd year ESO. Leaving the books behind, it creates an experience where students follow the Design Thinking phases and teamwork to try to turn their neighborhood into a smart neighborhood. In addition, it tries to approach girls to the STEM disciplines.
Collaborative design for Smart Pupils is a European project, which is developed between 2015 and 2017, to reinvent the concept of school, incorporating new collaborative pedagogical methods and the use of digital tools.
