This autumn, the ICT Point of the Jordi Rubió i Balaguer Library , in collaboration with the Sant Boi de Llobregat City Council, will organize a training course to prepare for the official ACTIC tests. The training proposal will be at a basic level or participant profile, will be taught in person, will last about 50 hours and will be offered adapted to the new ACTIC training contents, which reinforce a more current, competency-based and accessible model that reflects the real use of digital technologies and the degree of participation in the digital society. The training course, which will focus especially on office skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases, will have around twenty sessions and will begin next Tuesday, October 13. Likewise, the ICT Point promotes the 'Get closer to ICT' cycle with free training pills designed for those people who want to start or increase their computer knowledge. In this sense, the sessions revolve around aspects such as, for example, email, mobile phones, office automation or even generative artificial intelligence tools.
