The Mobile Week Barcelona aims to be an open space for reflection on digital transformation through art, science and technology. Its program includes roundtables and conferences, but also workshops (labs) and activities for children and families. The Òmnia Verdum and Colectic take charge of some of these workshops.
The Omnia Verdum (Fundació Pare Manel) organizes, on Saturday, February 24, at 10 am, the workshop "Open map of citizen participation and community technologies". It is a walk through the neighborhoods of Roquetes, Verdum and Prosperitat, to map on an OpenStreetMap. On the same day, at 10:30 am, the center will host a restart party for the reuse of equipment and materials.
Colectic organizes four workshops in the framework of #mWeekBCN. They are the following:
- 02-20, 10:00 p.m. Makers for inclusion: Success stories and study on the second level digital divide breach and new professions.
- 21/02, 5:30 p.m. Jam of sound technologies (for young people between 15 and 18 years old).
- 2-2, 11:00 p.m. Training for new voluntary people from Code Club in Elisava.
- 24/02, 10:00 p.m. What do you want to play? (for children 9 to 12 years old).
The Pere Tarrés Foundation also participates in the Mobile Week Barcelona, with the workshop "Health, money and love. Basic technology applied to everyday life", to be held at Cibernàrium on the 20th. There will be two editions, one at 10.00 and the other at 3:00 p.m. For the first there are no places, but for the second one.
The workshops will be held at civic centers, libraries, manufacturing centers, entities and other facilities in the city.
