"Our experience tells us that when young people leave to study abroad, it is difficult that tehy return to their village of origin," explains the manager of the CIS, Begoña García. She adds that the return of these professionals has always been a priority and that is why they developed this tool that now spreads throughout the Catalan territory.
The name of the portal is Retorna (returne) and makes clear which its objective is. Allows young university graduates or higher level training to register, promote themselves and find work in a rural region. At the same time, companies can access to find profiles that fit their vacant jobs.
People that want to register must be between 18 and 40 years. There may select their professional sector and the regions where they are interested in working. They also have the possibility to bind to their profile in the professional network LinkedIn.
The project is being presented to groups linked with young people to expand the database of professionals who want to join the labor market in a rural setting.
