Designed for children, teenagers and young people aged 9 to 17, the initiative will propose challenges to work on digital literacy, digital security and emotional intelligence.

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - Barcelona Tech (UPC) , with the support of the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion of the Generalitat de Catalunya, has launched a transformative and exciting project to fight the digital divide and promote digital training in a creative way and innovative Under the title 'CodiCrack' , the initiative seeks to grow digital skills. Specifically, children, teenagers and young people will work on digital literacy, to search for and critically evaluate information and use digital tools when making justified decisions, digital security and resilience, to protect themselves and others in the digital environment, participation and digital agenda, to interact equitably and positively influence society through ICT, emotional intelligence, to manage one's emotions and communicate with empathy in digital environments, and creativity and digital innovation, to express oneself and make attractive content on the Internet.

So, the 'CodiCrack' project will have three age groups: children aged 9 to 11, teenagers aged 12 to 13 and young people aged 14 to 17. In particular, thirty face-to-face hours of training actions taught by an experienced trainer are planned, who will conduct the sessions accompanied by a monitor. The workshops will take place during non-school hours and will have a maximum duration of twelve weeks. In this sense, students will solve missions and challenges that will promote active and applied learning. Once the experience ends, a certificate issued by the Polytechnic Foundation of Catalonia will be awarded that will accredit the digital skills achieved. Currently, the Technical University of Catalonia is looking for spaces when they want to host the 'CodiCrack' project, as well as people who want to be part of the teams of trainers and monitors and bring the initiative to various parts of the territory.
