The Departament d’Acció Exterior i Unió Europea de la Generalitat de Catalunya recently shared the forecast for NextGeneration calls from the Generalitat de Catalunya. These grants will be financed by the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism and are expected to be published throughout the year 2024. The next NextGeneration calls will cover nine areas: ecosystems and biodiversity, agri-food and fishery processing, preservation of the coast and water resources, skills digital technologies, educational system, employment policies, digital competitiveness, cybersecurity and 5G, tourism and housing renovation.
In this sense, there are some interesting calls for the community of the Xarxa Punt TIC. First of all, within the field of digital skills, a call for grants will predictably be opened for the implementation of professional training actions for employment for the acquisition and improvement of digital skills for promote entrepreneurship and rural development and reduce the gender gap within the framework of training programs to cover specific needs (SOC-ADA). This call will be for local entities, companies, research and/or training centers, foundations and third sector entities. Secondly, within the field of digital skills, a call for subsidies will be opened to private schools that are part of the Network of Digital Training Centers created within the framework of the National Network of Digital Skills. This call will be for local entities, research and/or training centers, foundations and third sector entities. Finally, within the scope of employment policies, a call for support programs for women in the rural and urban areas will predictably be opened. This call will be for local entities, foundations and third sector entities.
