Next Thursday, April 24, the session 'Female digital talent: an opportunity for Catalonia' will be promoted. The proposal will be a key meeting to understand the current situation and future challenges to promote and favor the presence of women within the Catalan technological field. The event, which will highlight female digital talent as a great engine of transformation and growth, will begin at 4 p.m. and will be held in the Sala Cotxeres of the Palau Robert, located at Passeig de Gràcia, number 107, in the city of Barcelona. First, the results of the second edition of the DonaTIC Barometer will be presented, a study by the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya and the Secretariat for Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya that offers an updated radiography of the presence of women within the Catalan technological sector. A round table will then be held that will bring together several expert voices such as, for example, Sandra Ruiz Peralta, general director of the Digital Economy and Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Sònia Cañizares, representative of the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya, Conxi Pérez Andreu, co-founder of Rolldbox Games and winner of the DonaTIC Entrepreneur Award, and Arlet Brufau, representative of the Observatory of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence of Catalonia. The Secretary of Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Maria Galindo, and the director of the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya, Xavier Sellarès, will also participate. The meeting will also feature the Minister of Business and Employment of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Miquel Sàmper.
