EDhack is a merger between education (ED) and hackaton (Hack) concepts, which proposes an open and free meeting where several people work in teams to transform education into a specific territory, addressing educational challenges in their context. The first meeting of this style that will take place in Catalonia will be in the Raval, district of Barcelona.
It will take place on February 23 and 24 and will present four challenges, for which the participants will propose solutions, such as classroom activities, digital applications, educational accompaniment projects, publications, new communication channels, etc.
The EDhack Raval will consist of three key moments in the creation of solutions:
- Connect with people and with their ideas and experiences: work teams will be created and the focus of the challenge that is to be addressed will be delimited.
- Monitor the real prototypes that respond to the challenge in a unique way: the second phase aimed at the prototyping of solutions for feasible products or viable.
- Compare the solutions and the learning: third and last phase in which all the teams present to the rest of participants the co-created solutions.
