In times of pandemic, the normal functioning of our society has been disrupted, with a direct impact on the educational world. The Internet connection has been reaffirmed as a basic need to combat the digital divide and guarantee the right to education of citizens, especially those of school age.
In this context, the ISOC-CAT (Catalan Chapter of the Internet Society) promotes the project No Student Without Internet in order to connect all those students who do not have resources to the network, offering various technical solutions and with the involvement of volunteers , public and private entities, and the general public.
This Friday, March 5 at 5.30 pm, they hold a conference to publicize the project with Jordi Clopés Esteban, from "Mataró wireless", a local section of the Guifi.net Foundation. The video conference link can be found here.
