Cybersecurity encompasses all physical, logical and administrative measures aimed at digital protection of companies, people and systems; be they devices, applications or data, in the face of digital attacks that may compromise their confidentiality, availability and / or integrity. Reliable and secure communications are essential in any system equipped with Internet technology.
To achieve this, cybersecurity applies various layers of protection to these assets at different levels to protect them. Not surprisingly, 40% of cyberattacks cause disruption of operations and billing , while 39% result in loss of confidential information.
More than 350 companies in Catalonia are already working in the field of cybersecurity , an increasingly important need in the digital transformation of companies.
The and EPORT technology 'Cybersecurity in Catalonia' developed in collaboration with CESICAT per share, will be released, which is involving different technologies and cybersecurity. In addition, the mapping of the state of the art in Catalonia will also be presented.
