The joint day will feature fifteen cases of success and good practice experiences from the two networks and an inspiring talk with expert in artificial intelligence and robotics Carme Torras.

Next Thursday, October 24, Xarxa Punt TIC and Xarxa Òmnia will organize a joint day at the Poblenou Campus of Pompeu Fabra University. Under the title 'Social Internet Day: 25 years of digital inclusion in the Omnia Network' , the event will seek to publicize initiatives and projects, promote the generation of synergies and links and promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

Specifically, the joint day will begin with the accreditations of the participants. Then, at 10:00 a.m., there will be an institutional welcome by the respective authorities and, at 10:15 a.m., an inspiring talk will be given by the mathematician and expert in artificial intelligence and robotics Carme Torras, who will reflect on ethics in the digital world. After the coffee break, where you can network and share a relaxed time with other members of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network and the Xarxa Òmnia, several good practice spaces will be energized, where the community of the Xarxa Punt TIC and the Xarxa Òmnia will present fifteen cases of success and good practice experiences from the two networks. The first shift will be from 11:45 to 12:25 and will feature a round table on community action and two spaces for the exchange of ideas, projects and experiences focused on digital gaps and digital manufacturing. Then, the second shift will be from 12:35 to 1:15 p.m. and will feature a round table on digital social innovation and two spaces for the exchange of ideas, projects and experiences focused on a gender perspective and intersectionality and on ICT families.
