The Ateneu de Fabricació de Les Corts will be hosting a fun Christmas activity that will focus on the art of knitting by combining digital manufacturing and manual techniques on January 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
On January 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Ateneu de Fabricació de Les Corts will organize a Christmas workshop. Under the title 'Create your own personalized loom!', the space will promote an activity that will focus on the art of weaving by combining digital manufacturing and manual techniques. Initially, on Thursday, January 2, the loom will be designed and cut using various digital tools and a laser machine. The following day, on Friday, January 3, the loom will be assembled piece by piece and you will learn how to use it by starting to weave your first textile projects. Previously, on December 17 and 19, the Ateneu de Fabricació de Les Corts will organize a Christmas workshop where artisanal creativity and digital creativity will be mixed. From 5 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, December 17, Christmas decorations will be created with conductive materials and innovative techniques and on Thursday, December 19, Christmas decorations will be transformed into interactive experiences full of lights and full of sounds.
