Next Wednesday, April 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., a new conference will be organized at the CaixaFòrum Macaya, located at Passeig de Sant Joan, 108, in the city of Barcelona. This time, the focus will be on the analysis of the transformations brought about by the metaverse, the challenges and problems from the psychological point of view of this virtual immersion in adolescence and youth, as well as the affects of this virtual world in people's mental health and well-being. In this regard, Carlos González Tardón, PhD in Psychology, game designer at Utopia and founder of People & Videogames will participate; Cecilia Castaño, professor of Applied Economics and co-director of the master's program on Gender Equality in Social Sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid; María Lázaro, graduate in Journalism at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Director of Development and Marketing at Adigital and author of the blog 'Hablando en corto' and the books 'Community manager.
