Next Tuesday, December 3, the Palau Macaya, located at Passeig de Sant Joan, number 108, in the city of Barcelona, will host the conference 'Truth in the media and artificial intelligence'. The event, which will start at 6.30pm and end at 8pm, will have the participation of two expert voices: Milagros Pérez Oliva, journalist, analyst and member of the El País editorial team, and Ulises Cortés , professor of artificial intelligence at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. The aim of the conference will be to reflect on how the media have shaped society's understanding of the truth, but with the emergence of systems based on artificial intelligence this dynamic has changed. The act will seek to put on the table the fact that it is increasingly difficult to maintain high levels of objectivity, as well as the central impact on the citizen's right to truthful information.
