Next Friday, October 24, in the morning, at the Casa del Mar, in Barcelona, the Xarxa Òmnia will organize its meeting where it will reflect on the impact of technology on the well-being of people and communities.
With the aim of becoming a space for reflection, the exchange of synergies and the generation of collective bonds, the Òmnia Network will organize its annual meeting next Friday, October 24, in the morning, at the Casa del Mar, located on Carrer d'Albareda, number 1-13, in the city of Barcelona. Under the name 'Digital health and community: the Òmnia Network as a meeting point', the Òmnia 2025 Conference will be a new annual event where the facilitators and managing entities of the Òmnia Network will be able to share experiences and reflect on the impact of technology on the well-being of people and communities. Among others, there will be the presentation 'Impact of TRICs on people's health' by Rosa Díaz, doctor in psychology and expert in addictive behaviors in adolescents. There will also be the round table 'And now what? Critical and transformative proposals in TRICs' by Xarxa de Salut Mental, which will talk about community mental health, Education for Critical Action, which will talk about the use and abuse of screens and other TRICs, the project 'No ho neguis', which will talk about hate speech, and Resistència Videolúdica, which will talk about video games. Likewise, a collaborative game will be promoted to work in a community setting and a graphic report of the event will be presented.
