Code Club at Libraries is an initiative of the Generalitat's Library Service together with Code Club Catalunya and the UOC, UPC-FIB, UDG, UPF, UB-Biblioteconomia, Elisava and URV universities.
During the past edition, a total of 240 boys and girls from Catalonia enjoyed a quarter of playful educational video game programming workshops in 26 libraries.
With the 8th edition , children from 9 to 12 years old will again enjoy free programming workshops with Scratch . The workshops are run by volunteers, in this case, undergraduate students from universities.
The main objective of the program is to stimulate scientific and technological vocations among children. To sign up, you must pre-register at the libraries, where the course will be done face-to-face or online.
Here you can find a list of all the libraries in Barcelona that take part and carry out the registration procedures.
