As part of the European Cybersecurity Month, the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia has developed an interactive game to learn how to create stronger passwords. Aimed at citizens, the interactive tool teaches how to transform simple words into more secure passwords. The game 'Claudi: mission secure password' , which is part of the new campaign of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, focuses attention on one of the essential areas of digital security: the use of secure passwords for devices and accounts. In this sense, the initiative will propose applying different password creation techniques, such as, for example, replacing some vowels with numbers, combining uppercase and lowercase letters or adding symbols. At all times, the user has the support of Claudi, an assistant in the form of a keychain that offers recommendations, advice, resources and clues. In this way, the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia wants to make available to citizens an easy, simple and understandable tool that facilitates the adoption of good digital habits in the face of cyberthreats and widely disseminates the importance of activating the double authentication factor within the digital world.

Launched in 2012, European Cybersecurity Month is the European Union's campaign to promote cybersecurity among citizens and organizations. Coordinated by the European Cybersecurity Agency and the European Commission, the initiative will provide new information on cybersecurity.
