On Tuesday, February 10, the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya presented the sixth edition of the ApadrinaTIC program. The initiative seeks to promote technological vocations through financial aid and mentoring sessions. The aim is to connect students in technological careers with the world of work. In this vein, the sixth edition has the participation of around sixty students in technological degrees, half of whom are girls. The presentation ceremony began with the institutional welcome by Mònica Acebo, head of the Digital Inclusion and Training Service of the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Rosa Rodríguez, vice-president of the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya. Two round tables were then held. The first round table revolved around universities and research and featured Miquel Soriano, general director of Universities, and Teresa Sanchís, general director of Research. The second round table focused on the experience of the program from the perspective of the mentors and students and featured Cristóbal Talavera, mentor, and Laura Campmany, student.
