The first virtual meeting of the year 2024 of the Xarxa Punt TIC put the focus on the AINA Program, a research project that aims to provide Catalan with sufficient resources to allow citizens to lead a digital life in the Catalan language. In this sense, after participating in the online session of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network and getting to know first-hand the initiative and its objectives, the TIC Point of the Roca Umbert Library , which is located on Carrer d'Enric Prat de la Riba , number 77, from the town of Granollers, is working on programming an informative workshop in order to present the AINA Program to users.
The activity 'Train technology with your voice' will take place on Wednesday 23 October, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Lasting one hour, the workshop will allow you to learn how the Mozilla Common Voice tool works and contribute to the promotion of Catalan in the digital world by recording voice clips (speech mode) and validating voice clips (listen mode). The activity will be aimed at young people from the age of 14 and adults. In addition, to participate, you will need to have basic digital knowledge. Registration will open on Friday, September 20.
