On October 15, 16 and 17, the city of Madrid was the scene of the new edition of the All Digital Summit . The event wanted to become a platform for sharing knowledge and ideas around the latest technological innovations, as well as facilitating networking and strengthening alliances in digital skills, entrepreneurship, employability and education. Also, the All Digital Summit wanted to focus on digital rights and how these are reflected in the various official international documents, in the fight against social exclusion and discrimination and in promoting a more aware and committed Altheo Valentini, president of All Digital, highlighted All Digital's role in shaping European policy and improving digital skills. Valentini said that when talking about digital rights, everyone should be included, regardless of citizenship status.
The new edition of All Digital has featured high-level keynote lectures such as those by Marta Markowska of the European Commission on the promotion of digital skills and Anahí Vallejos Mihotek of the Esplai Foundation on the prospects of civil society and with magnificent expert panels, practical workshops, quick presentations and activities. In addition, the event has the Digital Village, an interactive exhibition space that has allowed the attending public to explore cutting-edge digital transformation projects in a participatory format. In this sense, the new edition of All Digital has been structured around four thematic axes designed to promote a responsible and committed digital citizenship: the promotion of the digital society, education and media literacy, data and artificial intelligence, European digital rights, online safety and digital well-being, and promoting digital social innovation.
In this context, from the Technical and Promotion Office of the ICT Point Network, the blog 'TIC Families' was presented to promote the critical and responsible use of new technologies among the different members of the family. Along these lines, from the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the card game 'Our screens every day' was dynamised, to encourage and accompany the family conversation about the use of digital devices. Similarly, as part of the All Digital Summit 2024, on October 16, the All Digital Awards 2024 ceremony was held. This year, Pedro María Vega Rodríguez from Spain received the award in the category of best facilitator, Marilena Maragkou from Greece received the award for the category of best generator of digital change and Learning ML, promoted by Juan David Rodríguez García from Spain, received recognition for the category of best resource digital
