Through the m4Social initiative, the Taula d'Entitats del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya will promote the conference 'Connect and transform: social changes from digital innovation'. Working with administrations, federations and alliances, the Taula d'Entitats del Tercer Sector Social de Catalunya will seek to advance in three essential areas: the fight against the digital divide, the use of data in social entities and the potential of artificial intelligence to improve both internal processes and the care of groups in situations of vulnerability. The event will take place next Wednesday, October 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palau Macaya facilities, located at Passeig de Sant Joan, number 108, in the city of Barcelona. In this sense, during the morning, the alliances with which the entities work will be highlighted with the aim of promoting quality contributions, promoting the improvement of projects and specifying future priorities. Thus, there will be an institutional welcome by Xavier Trabado, president of the Table of Entities of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia, the presentation 'From the Digital Autumn to 10 years of m4Social: let's build a shared agenda for digital innovation in the third social sector' by David Fitó Ferré, head of m4Social at the Table of Entities of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia, and three inspiring conversations about transformative alliances: private world and innovation with Nerea Plaza Martínez, head of social action at Aigües de Barcelona, university and digital gap with Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol, professor at the Open University of Catalonia, and local world and data with Andreu Francisco Roger, general director of Localret. Following this, there will be several brief presentations of innovative and transformative projects in the Catalan territory with the participation of Dincat, Creu Roja Catalunya, Cocarmi, Associació Sant Joan de Déu, Fedaia, Fundació Ajuda i Esperança, Fundació Sargim and the Làbora program and the institutional closing by Sandra Ruiz Peralta, general director of Digital Economy and Society of the Department of Business and Work of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Finally, in the afternoon, the participants will be divided into small working groups that will allow them to delve deeper into the priority lines with the collaboration of experts and reference agents. Thus, the first working group will talk about coordination to work for full socio-digital inclusion in Catalonia and the embryo of a possible observatory of the digital divide in Catalonia, the second working group will revolve around how to use artificial intelligence to better care for people and the third working group will address data management as a valuable opportunity for third social sector entities.
