The awards recognized the talent of twelve women and two initiatives that promote female leadership in the digital transformation of Catalonia.

The Petit Palau of the Palau de la Música hosted last week a new edition of the DonaTIC 2025 Awards , which recognized 12 women and two initiatives for their talent and their contribution to female leadership in the technological and digital sector . With 88 nominations , 18 more than last year, the awards continue to grow and consolidate themselves as an essential event to give visibility to women who are transforming technology from Catalonia.

The awards, promoted by the Department of Business and Employment through the Secretariat of Digital Policies , aim to promote parity and offer references that inspire girls and young people to follow professional paths in the STEM field. The event, chaired by Minister Miquel Sàmper , included the intervention of Secretary Maria Galindo , as well as a presentation by Therese Jamaa , Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Openchip and winner of the 2016 DonaTIC Award.

The awardees were Alba Cervera Lierta ( Revelation ), Yolanda Lupiáñez Rodríguez ( Entrepreneur ), Laura García Maraña ( Businesswoman ), Eugènia Santamaría Pérez ( Academic/Researcher ), M. Carme Fernández Tallón ( Professional ), Marta Portalés Oliva ( Dissemination Worker ), Aimara Ventoso Tubio ( University ICT Student ), Lua Trevín Hernaiz ( VET ICT Student ) and Lucía Pallarés Rodríguez ( Doctorate ICT Student ).

Initiatives such as FemQA from Base Technology & Information Services and Missions Hypatia , from the Hypatia Mars Association, were also awarded, and three special mentions were awarded in Cybersecurity to Sílvia Sanvicente Garcia , Aerospace to Clàudia Mateo Segura , and Digital Culture to Eva Domínguez Martín .

Since its first edition in 2015, the DonaTIC Awards have received 865 nominations and have become a benchmark for highlighting the role of women in the country's digital transformation.
