On April 19 and 20, the EduTechCluster, with the collaboration of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, will organize the EdTech Congress Barcelona, a space of convergence between education and technology to promote the visualization of trends, meeting and dialogue. In essence, it will be two days of debate and exhibition of the latest innovations of edtech companies, where national and international education leaders, management teams of educational centers and university centers, edtech companies and public administration officials will participate.
Therefore, the central axes of the congress will be research in educational technology, policies in educational technologies and artificial intelligence. Some of the speakers will be Yong Zhao, professor at the University of Kansas and Melbourne Graduate School of Education; Carlos Santana, publicist and expert in artificial intelligence; Linda Castañeda, professor at the University of Murcia; Julio Albalad, director of the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training; Mireia Muruamendiaraz, director of Arizmendi Ikastola, and Pablo Rivera, professor at the University of Barcelona, among many others. In short, the event, which will be held at the Ciutadella Campus of the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, will be a key space to learn about the results of research on educational technology, educational policies and the challenges and possibilities of the intel· artificial intelligence in the field of education.
