Fixing the Future is an international festival that will bring together more than fifty entrepreneurs from all over the world related to smart cities, climate justice, sustainable fashion, activism, art, urban planning or conscious food .
For two days, the Barcelona CCCB will host inspiring ideas, debate tables to rethink cities, documentary screenings, empowerment workshops to protect and restore nature and family workshops on educational robotics , programming and maker world.
News of the third edition
This third edition will feature a special section of conferences and children's workshops dedicated to educational innovation and the learning methods of the future with several experts, including the educational technologist from the United Kingdom, Bethany Kobi; the designer and maker Dominic Wilcox , founder of the educational organization Little Inventors and the head of innovation of the educational robotics company TTS (the creators of the Beebot), Gemma Koch . STEAM workshops on robotics , programming and maker manufacturing will be the protagonists of the family workshops, organized by Ro-Botica . The cost of these will be €3 per child and will give access to all the workshops during the day of Saturday 17 September. They will be held in the hall of the CCCB.
Tickets for one of the two days, Friday 16 or Saturday 17 September, or the full pass for both can be obtained here . There are also family lots. 'Fixing the Future' has the collaboration of HolaLuz , Aigües de Barcelona and Oxfam Intermón .
