Following the health emergency resulting from Covid-19, the Can Carner ICT Point - Moianès Telecentre detected the need to accompany the public in carrying out digital procedures. "When everything closed, people couldn't go to the SEPE or SOC offices to do the procedures and found themselves a little lost and not knowing what to do", explains Elisabet Pascual, organizer of the Can Carner TIC Point - Telecentre Moianès . At this point, in Moianès, the support service for carrying out digital procedures emerged. "We believe that helping or promoting digitization among citizens is vital in the moment we are in now", adds Pascual.
"I've come to do a digital procedure to see if I have the right to receive a benefit called RAI, because I haven't found a job for many years", says user Isabel Fuentes. "I came to do a digital procedure linked to the allowance, because my unemployment ended", comments user Sònia Carmona. The two users of the Punt TIC Can Carner - Telecentre Moianès agreed that the support service in carrying out digital procedures was key to accompanying people with little knowledge of the digital world. "Since childhood, we have been digitized and we must try to ensure that everyone who is not digitized can work on these skills", concludes Pascual.
