All Digital recently released a report on digital well-being. Prepared with the collaboration of three member organisations, the Xarxa Punt TIC in Catalonia, Cardet in Cyprus and Maks vsw in Belgium, the 'Digital Well-Being' report focuses on a key issue: digital technologies are not inherently positive or inherently negative for the well-being of the users, but it is their implementation and their appropriate and responsible application that determines the impact on health. In this sense, the 'Digital Well-Being' report asks to move away from the idea that the physical world and the digital world are two separate entities and as interconnected entities, it proposes to create synergies between them, since a world is the extension from the other world
Two more essential ideas emerge from the 'Digital Well-Being' report. The first central idea is the need to promote a comprehensive, inclusive and accessible development of digital skills among citizens. This is a decisive fact to safeguard and improve health and well-being in digital environments. The second fundamental idea affects the responsibilities of team managers, educators or people who draw up public policies to ensure people's health and well-being.
