During the coming months, the Punt TIC will organize three courses and ten workshops on digital training to bring the new information and communication technologies closer together.

The Punt TIC del Servei Municipal d’Ocupació de l’Ajuntament de Girona will energize thirteen training proposals on digital training to bring the new information and communication technologies closer to citizens. The aim will be to facilitate access to new technologies for the most vulnerable people and to deal with the digital gaps, which unfortunately accelerate with digitization processes. Firstly, the Punt TIC will organize the course 'Digital Literacy and Internet' from 6 to 21 May which will last 25 hours and will discuss digital content, programs and applications, among others. Secondly, it will energize the course 'Basic Digital Skills' from September 23 to October 16 that will last 60 hours and will discuss the use of the operating system, Internet browsing, digital communication, identity digital and cyber security, among others. Thirdly, it will energize the course 'Advanced Digital Skills' from October 21 to November 11 which will last 60 hours and which will discuss the use and configuration of the operating system, the treatment of digital information, computer tools and problem solving, among others. The Punt TIC will offer fifteen places for each course, which will be open to all people.

At the same time, the Punt TIC will promote ten short training workshops, from three to four hours, to improve digital skills. The capsules, which will be offered monthly and will be open to all people, working and unemployed, will revolve around the digital certificate, artificial intelligence tools for the work environment, tools Google for the work environment and courses for ACTIC accreditation.
