Promoted by the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia and the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (Catalan Health Institute), with the collaboration of the TIC Salut Social Foundation and Eurecat, on November 6 and 7, a new edition of the Vic i-Days innovation competition will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia. This time, the fourth edition of the hackathon will focus on breast cancer and will pose challenges to improve current treatments and develop elements that allow better support for breast cancer patients. In this sense, the Vic i-Days 2025 will be aimed at undergraduate, master's and postgraduate students, who can present individually or in groups of four or five people. On the first day, November 6, from 9 am to 7 pm, participants will have to develop their solutions, where they will have the advice of experts linked to innovation, research and the experience of patients. On the second day, November 7, from 10 am to 2 pm, participants will have to present their proposals to a jury, which will choose the best solutions. The initiative is promoted by EIT Health , a European community that promotes knowledge, digital social innovation and active and healthy aging.
