With the aim of generating more awareness around existing gender biases, the Barcelona Provincial Council , the Sant Boi City Council and the public innovation laboratory Coboi Lab will promote the 'Feminist and intersectional innovation' conference. The training session will take place next Friday, April 10, from 10 am to 12 pm, in the Beta Space of the Coboi Lab public innovation laboratory. Specifically, the research group with a gender perspective 'Women and Innovation', which is part of a pilot residency project in the Beta Space of the Coboi Lab public innovation laboratory, will share its extract from the reading of the feminist and intersectional annex of Method 4>17, which was recently presented by the technical team of the Coboi Lab public innovation laboratory and several collaborating experts in the digital field. Specifically, the 4>17 Method is a tool for responding to city challenges in a collaborative way and has been conceptualized to facilitate and guide the processes of ideation, design, prototyping and testing of innovative solutions. Its aim is to capitalize from public administration the knowledge necessary to promote co-creation processes without the need to depend on intelligence external to the institution. Its name arises from the four phases of the project (Observation, Exploration, Action Plan and Implementation) and the seventeen sub-phases. Similarly, the research group with a gender perspective 'Women and Innovation' will lead a practical workshop where they can experiment with some of the exercises that the feminist and intersectional annex of the 4>17 Method invites you to do. To facilitate participation, an individual work area will be available from 8 am to 8 pm in the Beta Space.
