Hand in hand with Accent Obert and XNET, the Institute for Democratic Digitalization , the third edition of the 'European Conference 4D: democratic digitalization and digital rights' will shake the city of Barcelona next Thursday, October 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Fabra i Coats venue, located at Carrer de Sant Adrià, number 20, in the city of Barcelona. In this sense, the event will propose to mock power and favor changes and transformations, making known good practices that use humor to challenge the pre-established order and inspire global action. In this context, the award ceremony of the '4D Call: digital rights from design' will be held . The call will seek to support technologies, actions and initiatives focused on action in terms of commons and digital rights, such as, for example, technological developments, action protocols to change institutional and general habits, strategic litigation, legislative amendments and advocacy, and other solutions. Along these lines, the '4D Call: Digital Rights by Design' awards will award prizes of 5,000 to 10,000 euros to entities, consortia or individuals at a European level. The aim of the call will be for digitalisation to be democratic and for digital rights to be applied systemically, from design and by default, in the public and private spheres. The winning proposals will have to make a face-to-face presentation at the 'European 4D Conference'.
