Under the title 'Digital Autumn', in the months of October and November, m4Social , with the collaboration of the Taula d'Entitats del Tercer Sector de Catalunya, institutions, companies and entities, will promote a cycle of activities on digital social innovation. The cycle will begin on Wednesday, October 8 at the Palau Macaya with the conference 'Connect and transform: social changes from digital innovation', where after the good reception of the conference 'Digital innovation for better care for people', which was held at the end of 2024, work will resume to advance the main lines of work of the project: the fight against the digital divide, the use of data in social entities and how artificial intelligence can facilitate internal processes and care for groups in situations of vulnerability. The cycle will conclude on Tuesday, November 11 at the Social Hub with a meeting to take stock of the SimbiòTIC project, an initiative shared with the SinergiaTIC Association and with funding from the European Next Generation funds that aims to advance towards data management within entities with the SinergiaCRM tool, a software for the sector.
In this vein, m4Social will participate in various activities organized by other agents of the Catalan digital ecosystem. Thus, on Thursday, October 2, it will be part of the annual event of the Project Management Institute of Barcelona with reflections on the SimbiòTIC project and on Tuesday, October 28, of the 2nd European 4D Conference with contributions on data interoperability. Likewise, from November 4 to 6, it will participate in the Smart City Expo 2025 and on November 19 and 20, in the Beta 2025 Conferences. Similarly, internationally, m4Social will be part of international meetings such as, for example, to discuss the digitalization of the sector in Portugal in October and data ethics and accessibility in Latvia in November, as well as the European Social Network 2025 awards, where the Catalan digital divide index project will be presented with the aim of deepening research into socio-digital inequalities.
