Recently, the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and the Parc Taulí Hospital in the city of Sabadell have presented the mobile application TEAppAutism, an application for mobile devices that presents information and advice aimed at people who relate to children or people adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Available for iOS and Android mobile devices, the application contains a collection of videos by accredited professionals from the Parc Taulí Hospital in the city of Sabadell. The audiovisual materials are intended for families, friends and educators of people affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as health, educational and work personnel. The initiative has had the collaboration of users and professionals and is part of the interdisciplinary AUTAPP project. Also, within the framework of the initiative, more than 400 articles on psychosocial interventions for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have been reviewed and a high margin of improvement in methodological quality has been detected, since only about thirty articles met the quality criteria followed in other health science disciplines.
