Aimed at teachers and students in primary, secondary, high school and vocational training, the mSchools Awards 2026 aim to identify, distinguish and recognise projects developed with students that integrate digital technology, such as Scratch, robotics, artificial intelligence or virtual reality, to address an educational or social challenge. Specifically, the projects must be implemented in classrooms and must involve the participation of at least three students and one teacher. The mSchools Awards 2026 aim to highlight the projects and give visibility to educational centres. Along these lines, there are prizes valued at 40,000 euros: educational experiences for students, training for teachers and financial support for centres.
Initiatives can be submitted until next Thursday, April 30. Firstly, projects must be related to one of the six proposed thematic axes: digital well-being, media education, social awareness, art and creativity, equity and inclusion, and culture and diversity. Secondly, projects must integrate one or more digital resources and emerging technologies: audiovisuals, Scratch, georeferencing, programmable boards, robotics, augmented reality or virtual reality, artificial intelligence, maker manufacturing, mobile applications, or others, such as, for example, the Internet of Things or big data. The mSchools Awards 2026 are open to public, subsidized and private schools in Catalonia that are committed to making educational improvement possible.
