Next Wednesday, April 10, the fourth edition of the Congrés de Competències Digitals will be held. Promoted by the Departament d’Empresa i Treball of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona Activa, the Universitat Ramon Llull and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, with the support of Eurecat, the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cibernàrium of Barcelona Activa will focus on digital autonomy throughout life. The institutional welcome will be given by Liliana Arroyo, director general of the digital society of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Lorenzo DiPietro, director general of Barcelona Activa, Elisabet Golobardes, vice-rector of organization and academic quality of the Universitat Ramon Llull, and Àngels Fitó, chancellor of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. During the day, there will be several conferences and round tables facilitated by people who are experts in the digital field. Specifically, the study 'Digital intersectionality: addressing inequalities throughout the life course' will be presented by Claire Somerville, professor and executive director of international affairs at the Gender Center, and the study 'Digital Well-being' in by Miquel Àngel Prats, professor at the Universitat Ramon Llull, and Liliana Arroyo, general director of the digital society of the Generalitat de Catalunya. As for the round tables, four proposals on digital equity will be dynamised: inclusive perspective and fight against the digital gap, children and young people: prevention and training, ICT and health and digital skills for inclusion and social cohesion. Finally, the conclusions of a meeting of Centres de Formació per a Adults and a decalogue of learning and knowledge from the fourth edition of the Congrés de Competències Digitals will be shared.
