The Punt Òmnia gòTIC Tàrrega has developed a new free interactive tool. Under the title 'What environmental footprint does your use of technology leave?', the initiative allows you to discover the environmental impact of using mobile phones and other digital devices. The new free interactive tool analyzes everything from the manufacture of digital devices to energy consumption and the generation of electronic waste. Specifically, the initiative asks twenty questions organized into four areas: purchase and durability of digital devices, digital storage, data and content consumption, and energy and electronic waste. As a result, the new tool allows you to identify habits that favor a more conscious, efficient and environmentally responsible use. In this way, the Punt TIC wants to contribute to raising awareness and sensitization among citizens, to reflection on digital practices and the environmental impacts of technology, and to the exploration of possible alternatives.
