Last Thursday, September 12, the Punt Òmnia gòTIC Tàrrega welcomed the course with the presentation of the new program of activities, workshops and courses. So, during the coming months of October, November and December, the TIC Point will continue to work on digital skills and digital skills, as well as fight against digital gaps through various exciting and transformative training proposals. Firstly, there will be 'get started&mobile' which will focus on the most basic features, functions and applications of the mobile phone, 'get started&computer' which will focus on knowing the basic functions of the computer and its work environment and learning how to surf the web, manage email and ensure online safety, 'get started&Capcut' which will explore the world of video editing, effects, transitions and the use of music, and 'start&Canva' which will seek to create visual and attractive designs.
Also, there will be 'organize' , where four Google applications will be presented (Keep, Drive, Calendar and Gmail) and 'stimulate' , where applications will be provided to keep the mind active and train cognitive abilities in a way funny Along these lines, the training proposal 'detect the dangers of the Internet' will be boosted in order to make known the basic tools and knowledge needed to deal with the main digital risks, learn to identify them and know how to protect yourself of possible cyber attacks and possible digital threats. Also, on Wednesdays, from 9.30 to 10 am, new radio capsules will be offered where resources and strategies will be shared to deal with the great challenges, concerns and questions of digital citizenship.
Specifically, on Tuesday 19 November, from 12 to 1.30 pm, an online session will be organized as part of the European Waste Prevention Week. Under the title 'long life to mobiles!', the environmental impact of electronic waste will be reflected on and good practices will be offered to reduce, reuse, repair and recycle devices. Also, on Wednesday 20 November, from 9.30 to 11 am, and on Thursday 12 December, from 6.30 pm to 8 pm, an interactive and close environment will be provided to encourage the exchange of perspectives.
Interested people can sign up in person next Thursday, September 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., for the evening activities and next Friday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., for the morning activities. From these dates, and if there are places available, interested people can sign up online through an online registration channel that will be specified by the Òmnia gòTIC Tàrrega Point.
