Next Thursday, April 10, at 7 p.m., the Punt Òmnia gòTIC Tàrrega will present the new spring activity program in the assembly hall of the Tàrrega Germanes Güell Public Library, located at Plaça de Sant Antoni, number 3, in the town of Tàrrega. Under the title '#gòTICprimavera25', over the next few weeks, the Punt TIC will promote new free activities open to all citizens to experiment, learn and enjoy within the digital universe. Along these lines, in addition to the presentation of the new spring activity program, a nano-workshop will be held on biometric data, that is, the exclusive data of each person such as, for example, fingerprints, facial recognition, retinal scanners or voice recognition. Participants will have the opportunity to analyze the risks, advantages and challenges of this type of technology that is increasingly present in everyday life.
