The fourth virtual meeting of the Punt TIC Network in 2026 will focus on the promotion of digital talent. The new online session will take place next Tuesday, April 28, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and will be aimed at the facilitators and managing entities of the Punt TIC Network. Specifically, the new virtual meeting of the Punt TIC Network will feature the participation of Francesc Rambla, coordinator of the National Pact for Digital Talent in Catalonia at the Secretariat of Digital Policies , who will present the strategy, the parts of the process, the opportunities and the challenges. Among the main challenges of the National Pact for Digital Talent in Catalonia will be doubling the number of professionals linked to the ICT field, ensuring that half of these professionals are women and promoting the talent of people with disabilities.
Laura González, engineer of the 'Hypatia III' mission and representative of the Hypatia Mars association, will also participate . González will share the work of the entity and the experience of similar missions, where life and work on Mars are simulated. These missions allow technologies to be tested, scientific experiments to be developed and the human, social and ethical challenges posed by the future exploration of the red planet to be addressed. González will explain how these missions also allow outreach initiatives to be developed, such as the 'Hypatic' project, which seeks to promote female talent and digital inclusion in the fields of information and communication technologies. Laura Dubreuil , winner of the 2019 DonaTIC Revelation Award, will also participate . Dubreuil will talk about her professional career as a telecommunications engineer and the importance of promoting technological vocations. Dubreuil will detail his work linked to the world of neuroscience in Boston, United States, and the pharmaceutical company in Barcelona. Finally, a space will be opened for the exchange of experiences, insights and reflections.
