This year, Safer Internet Day celebrates its twentieth anniversary and seeks to emphasize the need for everyone to build a better Internet: safer, healthier, more ethical. As every year, the Safe Internet program of the Catalan Cyber Security Agency and the Spanish Government's National Institute of Cyber Security (INCIBE) carry out proposals and activities to encourage children, young people and families in their immediate surroundings. The Safer Internet Day was proposed in 2004 within the framework of the European Union and within the framework of the SafeBorders project. Since then it has spread globally and is currently celebrated in around 170 countries. Although originally Insafe was the network that brought together all the activities, since 2016 it was renamed as Better Internet for Kids with the European Commission's approach to Creating a Better Internet for Kids .

Service La Teva Ajuda in Cybersecurity
Teva Ajuda en Cybersegureta t is the national, free and confidential service that INCIBE makes available to Internet and technology users with the aim of helping them solve cyber security problems that may arise in their day up to date It is aimed at citizens (Internet users in general); companies and professionals who use the Internet and new technologies in the performance of their activity and must protect their assets and their business; and minors and their environment (parents, educators and professionals who work in the field of minors or online protection linked to this public). The service is attended by a multidisciplinary team of experts, through the different contact options, who offer technical, psychosocial and legal advice, from 8 am to 11 pm, 365 days a year.
Contest "What is 017 for you?"
An activity aimed at educational centers whose purpose is for the participants to learn about the service 'La Teva Ajuda en Cyberseguretat' to help them solve the cyber security problems that may arise in their day-to-day life. The proposal is that interested centers participate by recording a video in vertical format about one or several problems they have encountered or think they may encounter when using the Internet and new technologies, and how 017 can help them prevent them and solve them. The videos must be published as a reel and story on the school's Instagram profile, mentioning the INCIBE account and using the tag #017Contigo with the materials they make available to you.
