The Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia has launched a new communication campaign to promote cyber jobs. Under the name 'We are looking for you!' , the initiative seeks to awaken technological vocations among boys and girls. According to the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, cybersecurity is a sector with great potential and in constant growth, which in the coming years will need numerous professionals to fill new jobs. In Catalonia alone, it is estimated that there are more than 13,500 job opportunities in this professional field. In this sense, the sector brings together a great diversity of professional opportunities from the legal field to incident response, including research, consulting and auditing. Some specific examples are incident response team consultant, penetration testing professional, chief information security officer, legal cybersecurity expert, cybersecurity auditor, cybersecurity educator, cybersecurity implementation expert, cybersecurity architect, threat intelligence expert, digital forensic investigator, cybersecurity research expert or risk management expert. Along these lines, the training itineraries are diverse from training cycles to degrees, postgraduate degrees, masters or non-regulated courses. As a novelty, in the 2014-2015 academic year, the School of New Technologies-University of Barcelona (ENTI-UB) launched the cybersecurity degree.
